Your Pantanal tours solutions.

Hi, my name is Alexsander Gomes now Ocelotnatur tours. Since more than 15 years, I ‘m working tours to the northern Pantanal. The best way to enter the Pantanal is on the Transpantaneira, a large dust road that requires depending of the season four wheel drive cars and an experienced driveDepending on how much time you want to spend we can even drive till the end of the road (about 150 km).At this remote place chances to spot rare animals are the highest.But I won't lie to you - there is more to it than having an experienced guide. We also need a bit of luck!To give you an idea I added some information on how good chances are to spot an animal on the different tours.

Ocelotnatur 1º Day

Transfer from Airport until the city of Poconé a small town that is the gateway to the Pantanal in Poconé we will have a stop for lunch at a restaurant with tasty foods of the region After lunch we go to the farm hotel where you are going to sleep the first night there we will leave the luggage and after check in we go by boat on the Rio claro river and we carry on with our animals hunt to take the most beautiful pictures To remind predatory hunting is banned hunting in all over Brazilian territory But our hunt is in focus to take photographs. We go on the Pantanal river in search of the giant otter, the ocelot , the Cayman and if it is possible to have piranha fishing.18:00 pm we will continue on the transpantaneira which is a road where many animals can be seen around the road. Last week I saw the famous anaconda, caiman, many birds like Stork, parrots and herons.19:45 pm we come back from night safari to the farm hotel where we will have a delicious dinner and sleep .

ocelotnatur 2 º Day (walking day)

5:30 am in the morning waking up Just to see the sun rise on a 18 meters tall tower where you can see nature and also hear the birds singing and feel the nature 7:30 am in the morning we come back to the farm hotel here we will have a delicious breakfast with cheese, bread, coffee, milk, breads and fruits for energy to the next search of Pantanal animals 8:30 am we will have a walk through the farm tracks which can be seen tortoise , monkeys, birds and other animals. Note: we have to be prepared with insect repellent, hats, closed shoes and long pants. 12:00 lunch with Pantanal flavors the food will be served at the self service system with typical foods of the region with plenty of variety, if someone in the group is vegetarian please let me know so you can arrange something, but either way the dishes are varied, vegetables and other 14:30 pm we will have a walk hiking through different tracks that we made in the morning at farm which can be seen sakes , deer , agouti ,monkeys, birds and other animals. Note: we have to be prepared with Small bottle with water for 2 or 3 hours, insect repellent, hats, closed shoes and long pants, in the early afternoon to use sunscreen. 17:00 pm returned to another evening safari with car on the road in search of the animals and came back with flashlights connected to the car’s battery (evening safari can be also after dinner ) 20:00 pm delicious dinner and sleep in the new farm hotel

5:30 am waking up for a walk before breakfast 7:00 am delicious breakfast in the morning with many flavors of teas, bread and natural juices 8:00 am We will going to know the Pantanal horses that help the farms cowboys working with cattle. But our horse will are very well trained to ride, so you can enjoy this ride at the Pantanal We come back bout 10: 30 am or 11:00 am 12: 00 am we will be having lunch and doing the check-out leaving the rooms to be able to be cleaned and used by others people 14:30 pm we change our farm hotel because you have a short time and will be good to know a little more elsewhere of Pantanal …
