The Chapada dos Guimarães National Park is a Brazilian conservation unit located in the state of Mato Grosso, in the Chapada dos Guimarães municipalities and Cuiaba, which received federal den by Decree 97656 of 12 April 1989. It has an area total of 33,000 hectares.the Chapada dos Guimarães National Park with waterfalls, caves, lakes and trails in the midst of a typical savanna nature, predominant vegetation in the cityChapada dos Guimarães has several tourist attractions: 46 archaeological sites; two paleontological sites; 59 springs; 487 waterfalls; 3,300 km² National Park; 2,518 km² of the Environmental Protection Area; two state reserves; two municipal parks; two parkways; 157 km of walls; 42 properties listed by Iphan; 38 endemic species.

2nd stop spot Hell Gate a cliff that is close to the road many parakeets and macaws nest in this location using the cracks of sandstone walls

(about 67 km to the downtown and then 9 km more to the point of geodesy)..
But I won't lie to you - there is more to it than having an experienced guide. We also need a bit of luck! to see animals
To give you an idea I added some information on how good chances are to spot an animal on the different tours.
